In March 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has stopped the entire planet. As a new and critical threat to humanity, the importance of the fight against the viral threat has taken precedence in all spheres of our society, especially posing challenges to the entire business sector. Recognizing the potential threat in time, KK Pharma Leader took all preventive measures before the official declaration of the pandemic in order to protect its employees and business continuity through the introduction of strict epidemiological measures and the possibility for employees to do work remotely from home.

During the initial phase of the pandemic, our company contributed to the fight by providing its services in registering various tests to detect the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus in patients from several manufacturers.

The challenges of the long and difficult fight against the COVID-19 pandemic have left many traces and even lasting consequences around the planet. Thanks to the tireless efforts of all actors in the health system in the Republic of Serbia and abroad, the planet successfully fought the pandemic, while with the help of the pharmaceutical sector, the key to victory over this vicious disease was found - the vaccine against COVID-19.

Our company is especially proud of the fact that it provided its services from the preparation of documentation, through monitoring the entire registration process to issuance of the marketing authorization for one of the available vaccines against COVID-19 on the market of the Republic of Serbia. After the successful placing the vaccine on the market, our company continued its continuous engagement in monitoring its life cycle.

The course of the COVID-19 virus pandemic so far has shown that the importance of fighting the viral threat has grown as never before in the last few decades and that only together we can fight this invisible enemy and future similar threats.
